The Clock - Cards
The clock is named Orloj. It is an astronomical clock with, on the upper face, the signs of the zodiac, while the lower face is a calender. The figures on the upper face allegorical represent "Vanity", "Greed", "Death" and "Lust". The clock is so special. It's an enormous tourist attraction. There were so many people I could not get a good shot. I had to go inside the restaurant, was forced to drink coffee, but lucky for me, a window was open on the second floor, and voila, I had my shot. Got a wedding as well...that was a bonus. Prague.

Hofjes are tiny little homes, they were paid for by the church, or nobility, to house widows in the middle ages,and beyond. The town of Haarlem in the Netherlands still has quite a few.., they are walled in and thus very quiet, much coveted these days, only ladies are allowed to live there.
